    Greta deal, but the Touch ID seems to be busted/non functioning. The home button clicks to do all other functions except for the Touch ID which is fine, I personally rather use my PIN code anyway. But solid tablet great condition and came with a lightning cable and wall plug.

    Shipping time was perfect . Product has no visible damage . Very very good condition. I bought for my 2 yr old for Christmas , paired with a heavy duty child proof case and it’s perfect for him. I had no issues setting it up with an iCloud child account . Downloaded his Disney plus and movie app. It was running IOS 15 but had no issues updating to iOS 17. So far is does as it should . My daughter has the same tablet I purchased new in 2018 when this gen was released. They are all around good quality iPads and never had any real issues with them.

    So far this product was worth the purchase. No real apparent issues . Will surely come back to update if something was to arise. Thank you! 😊

    I bought this iPad for my 6yrolds birthday 2 months ago, It works great! It handles the large amount of apps and screen time without lagging or heating up or freezing! It’s very easy to use and I love the parental controls that allow me to keep him safe without hovering over his shoulder so I can get things done while he plays his games. It also allows me without a data plan to have away to contact him as long as it is through an Apple phone.

    Still no refund, now Amazon is saying that I returned the wrong item !!!!! I returned the item I received!!!! I can’t believe all the mis information I was told by all the different Amazon representatives, they all lied to me about how this would be resolved and here we are months later and still no refund and no iPad ! I am in contact with my states attorney general to try and get Amazon to do the right thing and give me my refund!!!!!!

    I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I was totally ripped off all because I purchased a “Amazon Renewed” iPad 9 in Excellent condition. I received the iPad in a generic package and also a generic charger. Out of the box the iPad would not turn on, thinking it just needed to be charged I used the included charger but it didn’t do anything to the iPad, I got a different iPad charger that I had and same thing nothing would happen so I left it to just see if maybe it was just really dead and needed to charge overnight. In the morning when checking to see if it took the charge I noticed that the iPad had split open from the battery malfunctioning and bloated up inside the iPad. I contacted Amazon support thinking everything was going to be resolved since Amazon renewed items have a 90 day replacement or refund if your not satisfied. First I was told that it would be replaced with another iPad exactly the same and I could just dispose of the bad iPad then I was told no I would need to send back the iPad and could only receive a refund !!??? I asked about the 90 day replacement or refund but was told that refund was the only option because that’s what the computer said !!!!???? I expressed concern that my money would be tied up for days or even weeks while the iPad was being sent back but the Amazon representative told me not to worry that he was having ups come to my house to pick up the iPad the next day and as soon as ups picked up I would be refunded within 2 hours and then would just be waiting on my bank to credit my account. This was not the correct information at all. The ups driver showed up the next day but could not take the iPad because the box was not taped up so he said he would come back the next day, later that day another ups driver showed up once again to pick up a Amazon return that I assume was the iPad but he didn’t know what the exact item was he was picking up, I told him a different driver was already there and was coming back the next day so I didn’t know why he was there. The next day the first driver came back to pick up the iPad to return, I had the box ready for him this time. To my surprise he said he had tickets for my address to pick up 3 different returns !!!! I told him I only had the iPad to return and had no idea why there were 3 different returns. The driver took my package and I was now waiting for the 2 hours to pass to get my refund well I waited overnight and still nothing so I called amazon to check on the refund and was told that they showed that ups did not yet have my package that was being returned!!!! And even if ups did have it the refund would not be processed until the iPad was received back at Amazon !!!!! While on the phone a third UPS driver shows up saying they are there for a Amazon return!!!! At this point I had no idea what was going on and Amazon was telling me that ups did not yet have the return and also did not know why the rep said the refund would be issued when the item was picked up by ups or why three different ups drivers came to my house. Well fast forward a week and I received an email from Amazon telling me the ipad that was returned was not the same ipad !!!!!!!?????? They said I would not be getting a refund and that they are the only dept that can handle this type of situation. So I’m still without an ipad and I don’t think I will be receiving a refund. I will never buy a Amazon Renewed item again after this awful experience.

    This was my first time buying a renewed product from Amazon and I was very skeptical at first. But after the iPad was delivered, I can safely say that I’m very impressed. The iPad is almost in new condition, there is some minor scuff marks around the audio jack, not noticeable with a case though. Arrived ready to be setup, no issues.     I bought this used iPad because, although it is older it is affordable, yet still a fairly current ipad. I was a little concerned that it might look used, but 8t 8s immaculate.

    It started up with no problem, I provided my Apple ID from years ago when I had an apple touch, and it worked beautifully. Of course most of that is down to Apple's design and data management which some people might find disconcerting, but for me the seem less operation of devices and account info within the Apple ecosystem is a welcome relief from the Windows and Android devices I've been using.

    The only hiccup with this iPad purchase was that the charging cable failed right out of the box. Initially, I thought it was the iPad itself that was the problem, but I bought a new cable and it charged no problem.

    Having to buy a new cable immediately was a minor disappointment, but I probably would have bought a better cable anyway, so no harm done.

    You never know with cheap cables, and I'm so please with the condition of the unit, that I'm giving this purchase full marks...5 stars!

    it came in a day which is pretty awesome since i just sold my old tablet. first look out the box, the screen was very good; no scratches, and a few finger prints but that was easily wiped off. the back of the ipad had some noticeable scuffs, but i put a case on it so it's pretty outta sight. it also came with a charger and plug.
    as i use it, i'll update this review since i've seen people have some not-so-good experiences as time went on
